On Monday, April 27, Columbia County Sheriff’s Office held a luncheon in honor of two valued members of the CCSO family who are retiring after many years with the agency. Sheriff Mark Hunter took the opportunity to point out that between them both they have over 60 years of service to the Sheriff’s Office and Columbia County.
On Monday, April 20, Sheriff Mark Hunter presented two deputies with the Distinguished Service Award for their heroic actions which resulted in saving a life during a house fire.
On Monday, April 20, Sheriff Mark Hunter gave three members of the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office Citizen Service Unit commendations for their exceptional work with the agency’s Crime Scene Unit.
On Wednesday, April 1, in a ceremony attended by family, friends and Sheriff’s Office personnel, Sheriff Mark Hunter swore in Mr. Dillon Moore as a Detention Deputy.
On Friday, March 27 at a retirement luncheon Sheriff Mark Hunter presented Detention Deputy Linda Harrington a plaque and a heartfelt thank you for her 13 years of dedicated service to the Sheriff’s Office and this community.
