Sheriff Hunter Presents Distinguished Service Award

On Tuesday November 19th, 2013, Sheriff Mark Hunter presented the Distinguished Service Award to Mr. Arthur C. Butler Sr. for 30 years of service and support to the Florida Sheriff’s Association. We would like to extend our most sincerest appreciation to Mr. Butler for supporting our Sheriff’s and Deputy Sheriff’s for all of these years.

On Wednesday, November 20, 2013, in a ceremony attended by family, friends and Sheriff’s Office personnel, Sheriff Mark Hunter swore in Lesli Strait as a Deputy Sheriff. We would like to welcome Deputy Sheriff Strait to the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office family and wish her the best of luck.
