PRESS RELEASE CORRECTION
THE COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE IS CORRECTING INFORMATION CONTAINED IN A PRESS RELEASE ISSUED CONCERNING THE MURDER/SUICIDE THAT OCCURED ON 8/1/10.
IT WAS PREVIOUSLY REPORTED THAT WILLIAM WOOD AND JODI WOOD WERE A SEPARATED, MARRIED COUPLE. THE CORRECT INFORMATION IS THAT THE WOOD’S WERE LEGALLY DIVORCED IN 2009.
THE COLUMBIA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE APOLOGIZES FOR REPORTING ERRONEOUS INFORMATION THAT WAS NOT CORRECT.
